Leila Buford, Wagner Homes' Service & Warranty Manager, was presented with the Home Address Fall Summit National Award for Wagner's excellence in customer service programs.


Wagner Homes, a premier design/build firm headquartered in Valparaiso, Indiana, has a long-standing reputation for creating custom homes designed to reflect the personal tastes and lifestyles of the homeowners, in addition to developing an array of innovative programs and services to maintain the beauty, quality and craftmanship of each and every Wagner-built home.

The award-winning program, called "Client Satisfaction Day," is an innovation created to offer Wagner homeowners all the advantages offered by Wagner construction professionals with none of the inconvenience caused by workmen directly scheduling repair or maintenance jobs with the homeowner. This eliminates the possibility that the carpenter schedules an appointment on one day and the heating/air conditioning service person schedules an appointment on another day, etc.

The Wagner program simplifies and streamlines the process for all involved. Typically, after the 60 day and 11 month "walkthroughs," the homeowner and Buford pinpoint any areas that need refinements or repairs.

Buford explained that, with Wagner's Client Satisfaction Day program, any repair work is scheduled through her, and she ensures that all trades' professionals show up at the client's home on the same day. This way, all work is performed at one time, and the homeowner has the confidence of knowing that everything is completed to the highest quality standards with the lowest level of frustration or inconvenience.

" Many times, the clients aren't at home when the work is performed," added Buford. "This program offers the ultimate in home warranty and service!"

Home Address, a company founded by Carol Smith in 1986, specializes in offering customer relations consulting and training services to building industries' companies across the United States, as well as in Canada, New Zealand, and Australia.

The Customer Relations Professional (CRP) Association was founded in 1999 to provide the home building industry with a vehicle for recognizing excellence in service within the industry, much like sales and construction professionals have many accolades and designations in the industry.
